Volunteering with Manx Blind Welfare Society is a rewarding way of doing something important for your community.
We rely on our team of volunteers to deliver our vital services across the Island, so whatever time you can spare, even just half an hour a week, could be invaluable to us.
As a volunteer, you can join a friendly team providing a wide range of services in a variety of areas. You could be on reception, helping with social groups, working in the library, recording and distributing our weekly news services, driving or escorting on our minibus or taking part in the many great activities we organise for our members. Volunteers are supported by our experienced staff and full training is given.
We’ll find the right activity for you by inviting you to Corrin Court, showing you around and chatting about how you can help Manx Blind Welfare Society.
It is a great way of getting involved in your community and giving something back, and ideal for anyone wanting to enhance a university application or CV.
